Most greenhouse that I see down here are mostly for cutting down on the sun and the heat.

I suggected clear panels but I think translucent panels would actually be better. I simple platform framed square or rectangle framed on 24" centers out of 2x4's Would probably work fine. And instead of sheath you would use the translucent panels for the walls and roof. But it seems like you could actually get away with using just on the roof. And then use screening on the walls. That would allow for plenty of air movement while cutting down on the sun. That's what I think I would try. Translucent panel roof and screen walls. And you could likely still rig up some kind of fan to keep the air moving.

I've seen Mrs.R's grafted tree. It is really neat. CThomp, maybe the Mrs. would let you put up one of those. It's only one tree with 4 different citrus fruits, very intriguing.

Yeah I've checked out the cocktail trees. They're very cool.

I wonder where I could find one locally though? I'll have to call around. Right now I can't even afford to landscape my lawn so it's gonna have to wait.

Cthomp - Check out costco, they had a nice greenhouse in their coupon book. It might give you an idea for design?

Now they are looking into things that were processed with tomatos as a possible source for the recall. Lots of people are still getting sick, so it might not be tomatos, or just tomatos.

sure is scary after all this time and they really don't know for sure what the problem is. Cant' wait to go up north and eat the tomatoes my son planted. should be just the right timing for them.
