A liberal blogger has claimed that Fred Thompson has violated election laws by not declaring his candidacy. The Campaign responds that they are working within the law. Thompson has 15 days to respond to the complaint. You might remember Lane Hudson, he's the blogger who published the Mark Foley Instant Messages a few months back. He may have hit the mark that time around, but one has to question exactly where he thinks Thompson is violating the law. Perhaps more importantly, why are liberal bloggers so interested in a person who is still just exploring candidacy? Could it be that Thompson really is the elephant in the room?
